Mahtab Keramati is a greatest actress of Iran and Arab world. She was born in Tehran, Iran in 17 October, 1970. Her full name is Mahtab Keramati Sheikholeslami. She achieved an honorary degree in Microbiology from one of the largest private and famous university named “Islamic Azad University”. She was taking acting courses when she was selected for the role of Helen in “The Men of Anjelos”. She originates reputation with this series and went on to appear in films such as “Mummy III” and “Rain man” for which she was nominated for a Fajr International Film Festival Crystal Symorgh. She than appeared in dramas such as “Crimson Soil” and “Saint Mary” and the films “Hell, Purgatory, Heaven”, “Alzheimer’s”, “There Are Things You Don’t Know” and “The Private Life of Mr. And Mrs. M.”.

Mahtab Keramati achieved a Crystal Symorgh for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for “20”. At present she is doing a great responsibility as a Goodwill Ambassador of UNICEF in Iran. She considers this as the most important concern as well as spends a huge of time for this duty. Keramati also tried to tie up cinema along with other arts with UNICEF activities.
