Sulaf Fawakherji is a great TV and a film actress plus one of the most popular models in Syria. Especially she is known for her distinctive and beautiful light eyes. She was born in 22nd July 1977 in Lattakia, Syria. Fawakherji got to be famous on the little screen when she took part in numerous Syrian soap operas. In the year of 1998, Sulaf Fawakherji took her first part in the movie “Al-Tirhal” and “Nassim al-Roh”. In 2006, she returned to the film and took a central part in the movie “Halim”. After two years she took part in the movies “The Babydoll Night” and “Hassiba”. She got her Bachelor of Arts in Archeology from the largest Syrian University named “Damascus University” in 1998 as well as Masters in Classical archeology in 2003 from the same University.

Awards and Achievements:
She participated in The Cannes International Film Festival in 2006 and 2008. She received many awards from Cairo Festival, Tunis Television Festival, the Artists Syndicate of Syria, Adonia Award in 2008 and Murex Award for most excellent actress for the year of 2008, 2009.
Sulaf Fawakherji is the first Arab Artist who participated and carried the Peking Olympic Torch in 2008 in China. She contributed a lot to many charitable organizations such as UNICEF, Basma Association, Al Tawahod Organization and so on. She got married to Wael Ramadan, a film director of Syria. And they have 2 children named Hamza Wael Ramadan and Ali Wael Ramadan.
