Tahmima Anam was born in Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh, and experienced childhood in Paris, Bangkok as well as New York. It was followed in 2011 by “The Good Muslim.”  She is grinding away on the final volume of the trilogy.

Ms. Anam was one of the Granta magazine’s Best of Young British Novelists in 2013. Her writing has been published in the British political and cultural magazine “The New Statesman”, The Guardian and The New York Times.

Hayat Sindi is a name of Modern Biotechnology. She is a great Muslima and was born in 1967 in the holy city Mecca, Saudi Arabia. Afra Jalabi

Afra Jalabi

Afra Jalabi is a great Arab-Canadian journalist as well as peace advocate. She was born in Damascus, the capital of Syria in 1970 and was brought up in Germany and Saudi Arabia. Afra Jalabi is a Muslim author, lecturer as well as a journalist. She was the previous president of the McGill University Muslim Students Association. Presently, she is writing for the Saudi famous daily news paper Al Yaum. She is a part of the publication leading group of the Journal of Law and Religion at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. Moji Olaiya

In Nigerian movie history “Moji Olaiya” is a name of passion and fashion! She is an actress and model of Nigeria. She has known specially for her “Sade Blade” (2005). “Nkan adun” (2008) and “Omo iya meta leyi” (2009). Moji started acting in the film rather late, having on hands an 8-year-old kid and really dealing with her girl all independent from anyone else. Because of the performer Bukky Wright Moji got to know the team while shooting the film “Super Story”. It was her first film. In “No Pains No Gains” she assumed the part of Irate. Moji’s performance proved the fact, that her father is outstanding maestro Sir Victor Olaiya. The actress continued the career with the debut “Yoruba film”, headlined “Agunbaniro”. That great performance showed that performing in “No Pains No Gains” was not a mistake.

Moji Olaiya began her film career in popular television drama, “Super Story” by Wale Adenuga, which gave her the earliest break into acting, playing the character of Ireti in the edition titled “No Pains No Gains”. She has won numerous honors both in Nigeria and out of the country for her great efforts.

Moji Olaiya has spoken out regarding why she decided to revert to the Muslim Religion. She said, “Honestly, Islam is a peaceful religion. The aspect I love most is that you don’t need any pastor to get closer to God. You don’t really need anybody to pray for you. You can always pray on your own and Almighty Allah will answer your prayer without any intermediary. I have been doing that since I became a Muslim and it has always worked for me.”

She also said in “Encomium Magazine” of Nigeria “Nobody influenced my decision to identify with Islam. I have just said it; my mother was an Alhaja before she converted to Christianity. Islam has been a religion I have always loved. I have been in-between Christianity and Islam but just recently I decided to embrace Islam fully and there is no regret doing so”.
